It has been a very exciting week, let’s review… Lindsay Lohan is going to jail, & Lebron James has made every basketball fan demolish all of their fingernails as they anxiously awaited his decision regarding the team on which he wants to play, AND Brendon Clark won his 3rd PBR event in row on the 4th of July! I just can’t make out how that last bit of news somehow slipped by the ESPN or CNN news crew! Now, I know that my 1,300 Twitter followers don’t quite compare to Lindsay & Lebron’s 3 million combined followers! Nonetheless, it means something to me!

For those of you who don’t know me or my sense of humor, that last paragraph was meant to be funny, well at least the part about those other two was supposed to be witty! Me winning three events in a row though was no joke and I am pleased to say that in my career in the Professional Bull Riders, it will go down as one of my best and most satisfying accomplishments! It isn’t really known for sure if this has ever been accomplished in the PBR, and it really doesn’t matter to me, but it is pretty cool to be able & lucky enough to actually do it.

A lot has to go your way to be able to win a PBR, and I mean at any PBR level. First, you have to draw good bulls, 2nd you need to ride well, and 3rd you need to have a little luck with the way the other bulls & riders perform. To have all this happen at three events in a row is awesome and almost unheard of! Now please don’t take that as cocky, because there are plenty of bull riders out there who have the ability to do this, I guess the cards just haven’t fallen the right way for them like they have for me this week.

The past few years have not gone the way I’d hoped (most people only remember last year because that was the bad one), but I’ve missed the past three summers due to different injuries. I am really excited with the way my bull riding has shaped up in the past four months. I am feeling healthy and strong – both mentally and physically and I’m looking forward to the rest of the year.

As I mentioned in a previous blog, I’ve been doing a lot with www.brendonclark.com trying to make it better for you fans! Who, by the way, I need to thank for all of the continued support - even all of you who may not be specifically “Brendon Clark” fans, but just bull riding fans in general. I can’t tell you how much it means to have you guys cheering loud when we ride and still cheering for us when we’re down - it really means a lot and is appreciated by all of us riders! But anyway, I hope you like the site and encourage you to send in your questions, which I will attempt to answer in the funniest way I know on my Video Log (that’s VLOG for all you computer geeks) – let’s have some fun with this!

If you’re at an event come and say hi and if that isn’t possible follow me on twitter @brendonclark80!

Until next time, I’ll leave you with this:

Brendan Clark is a racist. He is jealous of the Brazilian riders. Win a world title, then maybe you can advance your agenda.

Congratulations on winning FOUR consecutive events and getting the girl!  Your lovely fiance seems to be a perfect fit for you (not that I know either of you, but just from your videos and the few times I've had the opportunity to meet you). I'd say things are going about as great as possible for you. You've been one of my faves for several years.  As a fan I truly appreciate how you have allowed us a glimpse into your life. You're the BEST about updating on both Facebook and Twitter, even with the most seemingly mundane every day things.   I always enjoy your views of things and your blogs (both written and video are quite entertaining--as are the still pics you post.  Hope you continue the roll you're on and kick butt the rest of the season!  Be safe!

Brendon - Congrats on your 4 consecutive wins!  Fantastic.  Love the new website. I have been waiting for some time for it to get updated and changed.  Any chance you might make some wallpapers available?  I was just watching some of your video logs - pretty cool. Correct me if I am wrong or misunderstood, but did you get engaged?  If so, another big Congrats!     Looking forward to the BFTS starting up again - hope you're competing.  Good Luck!

Congrats!

Well Done!

My husband and I have been your fans for quite some time. You were a guest commentator on Versus, and we appreciate your Aussie wit, sharp and spot on bull riding review and just being Brendon from Australia. You are well spoken, articulate, and offer a little different commentary on what you see in the arena for a rider and bull performance. You stand apart from Ty, McKee, McBride, and most especially Hart when it come to your assessment. Perhaps when you hang up your rope and spurs, you'll be invited to guest commentate on Versus.

We also see and know that you are very talented, commited, driven and won't give up. We notice that after severe and/or life threatening injuries the head (mind games) gets in the way of talent. I suspect facing ones  mortality plays a part in staying on 8 seconds successfully without injury and getting a good score. It's a tough sport, and you are!

Glad to hear about your success! See you at a meet and greet, perhaps in Las Vegas this year! God bless!

Keep it up! We're cheering for you!
